Honolulu, Hawaii is over pedestrians who text and walk!.You will now have to put your phone away when crossing the street, or you can say Aloha to a fine of $99! The law is in effect starting today.
“Hawaiian city will fine you up to $35 if you’re caught gazing at your phone when crossing the street. Get caught a second time and it’ll cost you up to $75. And a third time — regardless of whether you’re in a hospital by then having been hit by a car — pushes the fine up to $99.”
