Hinsdale Police say the crew arrived in a Chrysler 300, stolen from Chicago, and multiple offenders broke into the Ferrari dealership at about 2:30 a.m. The Chrysler was found wedged against the wall, where a window was broken.
Officers arrested two suspects, reportedly as they were inside a red Ferrari that was parked outside the building. Police say at least one person got away, according to Hinsdale Police Chief Brian King.
Authorities found a gun magazine and after searching further, found a firearm in a residential yard nearby. Hats, a shoe, and tools were also found in the parking lot.
Police said no vehicles or property were stolen from either dealership and they are reviewing video evidence taken from the dealership’s extensive surveillance camera system.
