Illinois seeking to address emerging issues in artificial intelligence

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Illinois is joining other states in delving into protection against artificial intelligence.

Thursday morning, the Illinois Judiciary Committee held a hearing on emerging issues in the artificial intelligence industry.

Lawmakers discussed the way AI can help benefit and hinder the state.

Pritzker formed a Generative AI and Natural Language Processing Task Force in August.
