Illinois church hit by lightning during morning storms
An Illinois church was struck by lightning and caught fire early Monday morning. It happened at St. Johns United Church of Christ in Massac County.
MASSAC COUNTY, Ill. - An Illinois church was struck by lightning and caught fire early Monday morning.
The fire occurred at St. John's United Church of Christ in Massac County in southern Illinois.
The sheriff's office says the strike happened as a strong line of storms moved across the area.
