Illinois reports 7,910 cases of coronavirus, 145 additional deaths

The Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting another 7,910 new cases of coronavirus in the state, along with 145 additional deaths.

Health officials said another 95,825 tests were reported by the state, bringing the total to 11,274,608 tests performed.

Since the start of the pandemic, 804,174 cases of COVID-19 have been reported by the state. Additionally, 13,487 people have died from the virus.

The state's positivity rate is 9.9 percent.
