CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - It seems like it's been a long time coming, but Spike Lee's Chi-Raq officially opens in theaters Thursday.

As soon as Lee announced that the title of his film would be Chi-Raq, it was met with criticism before they even began shooting.

FOX 32’s Jake Hamilton sat down with the cast and talked with them about the criticisms they heard while shooting in Chicago and if they thought any of the hate was valid.
