Judge approves Pheasant Run Resort demolition contract

Demolition of the former Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles could begin as soon as Thursday.

Demolition of the former Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles could begin as soon as Thursday.

On Wednesday a judge approved the contractor chosen for the job.

The Daily Herald reports the total cost of the demolition is estimated at $2.43 million. Officials say they'll make the property's owner pay for it.

Pheasant Run Resort opened in 1963 and closed in 2020.
