Chicago rapper Kanye West is pulling out all the stops for his next "Donda" listening party.

Rapper Kanye West is pulling out all the stops for his "Donda" listening party Thursday in Chicago.

SkyFOX was over Soldier Field Tuesday afternoon where word is he's rebuilding his childhood home right in the middle of the field. Kanye's new album pays homage to his late mother, Donda West, who died in 2007 following complications from a surgical procedure.

Thirty-eight thousand people are expected to attend and there are no requirements for COVID testing or proof of vaccination.

The Chicago Park District says it feels the outdoor event can be held safely.

"Kanye West's performance is one of many examples that show that Chicago can be open and safe at the same time," the park district said in a statement. "We have worked with Soldier Field on COVID-19 safety protocols, as we have other venues including Wrigley and Guaranteed Rate Fields, and feel this event can be safely held with the proper mitigation efforts in place."

The stadium's normal capacity of 63,000 will be cut nearly in half for the event, according to the park district. Masks are recommended for those who are unvaccinated.

The event is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
