FOX 32 NEWS - Halloween night has come to an end, but it was filled with tricks and treats for many on a beautiful Monday night.

The weather couldn't have been better for the kids and adults alike heading out for a night of candy and fun.

Halloween is a night when the ghouls, super heroes and dinosaurs come knocking at your door, with delicious candy always on the other side.

"It's a beautiful Halloween, we don't always get them, but it's really nice,” said Joseph Clair.

For 6-year-old Maggie, all she cared about was getting her favorite candy.

"Kit Kats. (Are Kit Kats your favorite?) Yeah!" Maggie said.

And it wasn't just the kids out having fun. The adults were doing the same for the 20th Annual North Halsted Halloween Parade.

"Usually we wake up and we pray for no snow. Today I woke up and the sun was shining and it was nice and breezy, everyone was in a great mood. Of course the World Series definitely helped,” said Chad Honeycutt.

It takes a lot of dedication to come up with costumes like Darren Stephens, who was dressed as Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors,

"About 3 months for 2 hours every day. It started too large, then too small and I kept changing it. I had to keep looking in the mirror for the proportions and I think I finally got it,” Stephens said.

The parade drew a big crowd on a school night and it was a memorable Halloween for all.
