CHICAGO - A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing Friday has returned home safely.
Chicago police canceled a missing person alert for Layra Short on Monday.
She was previously reported missing from the 1900 block of North Kildare Avenue in the Hermosa neighborhood Sunday morning.
