Man, 19, in critical condition after shooting on Near West Side

A 19-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting on Chicago's Near West Side.

The incident happened just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of S. Ashland. 

The man was shot in the stomach and taken by ambulance to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, according to Chicago police. Details on the suspect haven't been released. 

No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
