Man, 21, shot in South Chicago
CHICAGO - A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the South Chicago neighborhood.
The 21-year-old was near a sidewalk around 5 p.m. when gunfire broke out and struck him in the buttocks in the 8600 block of South Burnham Avenue, according to police.
The victim was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was reported in fair condition, police said.
No one is in custody as area detectives investigate.
