Man, 27, shot in chin in Austin

CHICAGO - A man was shot and hospitalized Wednesday night in Chicago's Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 27-year-old was sitting in a parked car around 9:42 p.m. when he was shot at by someone in a white sedan in the 900 block of North Cicero Avenue, police said.

The victim was shot in the chin and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in good condition.

There is no one in custody as Area Four detectives investigate
