DOLTON, Ill. - A man was arrested in Dolton after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of a fully automatic firearm and a foot chase with Cook County deputies.
Antwon Short, 30, is charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/machine gun, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon with no FOID, and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

What we know
When officers pulled over Short, they found him in possession of a loaded firearm equipped with an auto-switch, making it fully automatic, deputies said.
He also had a high-capacity magazine and did not have a FOID card or a Concealed Carry License.
Short allegedly led officers on a foot chase in an attempt to evade arrest but was taken into custody.
What we don't know
