CHICAGO (STMW) - A 23-year-old man has been charged for a fatal shooting last week in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
Dannee Brewer, 23, was charged with first-degree murder for a shooting that left a 34-year-old man dead Jan. 16, Chicago Police announced Saturday.
Quintae Little was shot in the right side of his torso at 11:48 a.m. in a parking lot in the 4500 block of South Cicero Avenue, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:46 p.m.
Officers recovered a weapon from Little, of the 4500 block of South Lavergne Avenue, on the scene, police said.
Brewer, of the 10400 block of South Bell Avenue, is scheduled to appear in bond court Sunday.
