NASCAR in Chicago fans thrilled with racing in spite of weather problems

The Loop 121 race was delayed on Saturday until Sunday because of weather.

A man was issued three citations after he drove on to the NASCAR Chicago track in an unauthorized car on Saturday night.

Chicago police said the man, 46, was stopped on the 1200 block of South Lake Shore Drive just after 10 p.m.

There was no racing at the time.

The man was cited for negligent driving, no valid registration, and having an uninsured motor vehicle.
