CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A man was critically wounded Saturday in a shooting in West Pullman on the Far South Side.
The 38-year-old was walking about 9:40 a.m. in the 12300 block of South Emerald Avenue when another male approached him and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The man was struck once in the abdomen and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
