Man in custody after Manhattan gun shop robbery
MANHATTAN, Ill. (FOX 32 NEWS) - Police have one suspect in custody following the robbery of a gun shop in downtown Manhattan Monday morning, according to reports.
Patch.com reported that the suspect was sprayed with mace and taken into custody after an hour-long search. He was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect was described as a black male, standing at 6 feet tall and 180 pounds.
Several local police departments assisted in the search, including Will County Sheriff's police, New Lenox, Mokena and Frankfort, Patch.com reported.
