Man riding in vehicle killed in Roseland shooting, police say
CHICAGO - A 30-year-old man was gunned down Tuesday night on Chicago's South Side.
Just before 9 p.m., police say the male victim was a passenger in a vehicle in the 10900 block of S. Wentworth Ave. when an occupant in a dark-colored SUV fired shots.
The victim was struck in the chest and taken to Roseland Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
