CHICAGO - A man was fatally shot in Washington Park in the middle of the day Saturday.
Chicago police said a 29-year-old man was outside near 57th Street and South Prairie Avenue around 11 a.m. when two people got out of a black SUV and started shooting.
The victim was shot and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests were reported. Area detectives are investigating.
