A 29-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.

Around 2:27 p.m., police say the male victim was in the 6500 block of South King Drive when he was struck to the chest and foot by gunfire.

The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition, police said.

Nobody was reported in custody.
