CHICAGO - A 33-year-old man was critically wounded Saturday in a shooting in Austin on the West Side.
About 2:50 p.m. he was in the 100 block of North Waller Avenue, when he heard shots and felt a pain, Chicago police said.
He was struck in the chest and taken to Loretto Hosptial in critical condition, police said.
Chicago police are investigating.
