Man shot in the shoulder on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO - A man was shot on Chicago's South Side Thursday afternoon. 

At about 4:54 p.m., a 22-year-old man was near the sidewalk in the 4400 block of South Wolcott when he was shot, police said.

The victim was struck in the shoulder and self-transported to an area hospital in good condition.

No offenders are in custody. Area detectives are investigating.
