Man shot in thigh while inside vehicle in Bronzeville

CHICAGO - A man was shot and wounded while inside a vehicle in Bronzeville Tuesday afternoon.

At about 2 p.m., a 22-year-old man was inside a vehicle in the 4800 block of South Cottage Grove when he was struck in the thigh by gunfire, police said.

He was transported to an area hospital in good condition.

No offenders are in custody. Area detectives are investigating.
