Man shot in West Town: Chicago police

CHICAGO - A 24-year-old man was shot on a sidewalk in West Town Saturday morning. 

Police say the victim was in the 300 block of North Laflin Street at about 2:45 p.m. when he was struck by gunfire. 

The victim was transported to Stroger Hospital in good condition with gunshot to the right leg. 

There is no one in custody and area detectives are investigating.
