Man shot while driving on Chicago's West Side

CHICAGO - A man was driving along South Central Park on Sunday when a person in another car opened fire.

The shooting happened around 4:25 p.m. in Garfield Park on the West Side.

The victim was hit in the abodomen and shoulder and was hospitalized in serious condition.

He is one of more than 850 people shot in Chicago so far this year.
