Woman charged with stabbing man on CTA bus
CHICAGO - A 28-year-old woman was charged with stabbing a man while he sat on a CTA bus on the Near North Side Tuesday afternoon.
The man, 25, was attacked near North and Clybourn Avenue about 3 p.m., Chicago police said. He suffered a laceration to the head and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.
Jaqualah Norris was identified as the person who stabbed the man and was taken into custody at the scene, police said.
Norris was charged with one felony count of aggravated battery and use of a deadly weapon.
She is expected to appear in bond court Thursday.
