CHICAGO - A man was hit by a car on Lake Shore Drive near the Gold Coast on Saturday night.
The man, 29, walked into oncoming traffic near the S curve around 7 p.m.
He was hit by a car and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Two cars were damaged in the crash, and four adults from those cars refused medical treatment.

Wind knocks down tree branch onto car on Lake Shore Drive
Traffic on Lake Shore Drive was at a standstill Friday afternoon after wind knocked down a tree branch onto at least one car near North Avenue, sending a person to a hospital.
