An 80-year-old man with dementia who was reported missing from the South Chicago neighborhood has been located. 

Maurice Gordan was reported missing on Aug. 26 from the 8000 block of South Shore Drive, according to Chicago police.

He was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with brown eyes and white hair. He was wearing a red baseball cap, a yellow shirt, and beige pants at the time of his disappearance.

Further details have not been released.
