People have different ways of showing loyalty to the U.S., whether hanging the American flag outside their homes or serving in the military.

While there are many ways to display your love of America, WalletHub created a list of states that are the most patriotic.

To determine which areas have the most pride, the personal finance company compared 50 states across two key categories, "military engagement" and "civic engagement."

The group also looks at states across 13 categories of patriotism by assessing the state’s military enlistees and veterans to adults who voted in the 2020 presidential election and AmeriCorps volunteers per capita.

Here’s a list of the most patriotic states.
