CHICAGO - Mount Carmel High School was riding high after capturing the 7A State Championship football title.
The South Side high school hosted a pep rally Tuesday after defeating the Batavia Bulldogs 44-20 on Saturday.
This is the school's 14th State Championship in football.

The game was played down in Champaign at the U of I's Memorial Stadium.
The team finished the season undefeated.
