Navy Pier leads Chicago's New Year's Eve celebrations with parties and fireworks
CHICAGO - Families and partygoers have plenty of options to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Chicago, with events ranging from rooftop soirées to disco parties and a stunning fireworks display.
At Navy Pier, excitement is building for some distinct celebrations. The Offshore Rooftop’s "Glitz and Glam Soirée" promises a luxurious evening with a Champagne toast, a four-hour premium open bar, and a live DJ. Organizers expect 550 guests at this exclusive event.
For those seeking a larger party, the Aon Grand Ballroom will host the "Grand Chicago New Year’s Eve," featuring the city’s largest dance floor. Around 3,000 attendees are expected to join the fun, which will include a 70-foot balloon drop and Navy Pier’s extended 15-minute fireworks show.
In Lincoln Park, disco fever will take over Lincoln Hall with a dance party hosted by singer and activist Ric Wilson. The event, running from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., will feature various DJs, promising an unforgettable night of music and movement.
