CHICAGO (STMW) - Green and Pink line service will be suspended starting Sunday between the Clinton and Clark/Lake stations due to maintenance work at the Lake Street Bridge.

Green Line trains will operate in both directions, but in two sections: between Harlem/Lake and Clinton and between Ashland/63rd and the Loop. Green Line trains will follow Orange Line trains clockwise in the Loop, first stopping at Harold Washington Library before continuing to Ashland/63rd and Cottage Grove, according to an alert from the CTA.

There will be no Pink Line service in the Loop, but a shuttle train will make all stops going counterclockwise. The Pink Line will run in both directions between 54th Cermak and Clinton, according to the alert.

Shuttle buses will serve Green and Pink line riders on their way to the Loop as well as those on their way to Harlem/Lake between 5 a.m. Sunday and 4 a.m. Monday. Harlem/Lake-bound riders at Clark/Lake can board the free shuttle from the southeast corner of LaSalle/Lake. Loop-bound customers at Clinton can board the shuttle on the west side of Clinton Street south of Lake Street, the alert said.

Riders should visit transitchicago.com/alerts for updates on service and closures.
