Juveniles driving carjacking trend in Chicago

Sadly, a 17-year-old is not the youngest suspect that members of Chicago's carjacking task force have seen. They arrested a well-known 11-year-old that was part of a carjacking crew, and it was not his first time.

Two 16-year-olds are charged with beating up a disabled man in Chicago's Loop and carjacking his car.

Chicago police said the victims targeted the man on South Michigan Avenue near Millennium Park on Saturday night.

Police said the victim is a 60-year-old disabled man.

The two 16-year-old males are facing felony charges of aggravated vehicular hijacking and robbery of a handicapped victim.
