Vehicle crashes through Downers Grove home; minor injuries reported

At about 4:20 p.m., Downers Grove police responded to the 6500 block of Briargate for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a home.

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. - A vehicle crashed through a Downers Grove home Friday afternoon.

At about 4:20 p.m., Downers Grove police responded to the 6500 block of Briargate for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a home.

According to preliminary information, police believe the crash may be the result of a medical issue.

The male driver and female passenger were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A vehicle crashed through a Downers Grove home Friday afternoon.

"It was definitely just an interesting start to the weekend," said next door neighbor Mickey Bravo.

The occupants of the home were uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
