Downers Grove crash: Pickup truck plows through home, minor injuries reported

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. - A vehicle crashed through a Downers Grove home Friday afternoon.
At about 4:20 p.m., Downers Grove police responded to the 6500 block of Briargate for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a home.
According to preliminary information, police believe the crash may be the result of a medical issue.
The male driver and female passenger were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The occupants of the home were uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
