Police: CPD officer shoots person in Back of the Yards

CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - A Chicago Police officer shot a person Sunday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.

The shooting happened in the 4200 block of South Ashland Avenue, according to CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi. No officers were injured.
