Police: Five strong-arm robberies in Auburn Gresham last month

Chicago Police are cautioning South Side residents after a string of five strong-arm robberies in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood last month.

Between one and three men have carried out the robberies, which happened:

— about 11:40 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 1600 block of West 81st Street;

— about 2 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 7900 block of South Hermitage;

— about 4:40 p.m. Sept. 14 in the 7900 block of South Hermitage;

— about 4 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 1800 block of West 80th Street; and

— about 9:30 p.m. Sept. 28 in the 7900 block of South Ashland.

Police don’t have a detailed description of any possible suspects.
