Portillo's aims to open 920 locations across country
The Chicago based restaurant chain Portillo's says it wants to open 920 more locations across the country. Currently, there at 77 in 10 states.
CHICAGO - A Portillo's could be popping up closer to home.
The Chicago chain wants to open more than 900 new restaurants around the country.
Of the proposed 920 new spots, about 800 would be full-scale restaurants while the others will be pickup locations.
It's not clear when Portillo's plans to open the additional locations.
Currently, there are 77 restaurants in 10 states.
