Chants of "What do we want?" "Justice!" and "When do we want it?" "Now" echoed down Michigan Avenue as the protesters waved Palestine flags in the air.

This protest was led by the group "US Palestinian Community Network" and the Coalition for Justice. It is one of several they have conducted in the Chicago area over the last few weeks.

Hundreds of people gathered on Sunday, Dec. 31, to march in a pro-Palestine protest, calling for justice and a ceasefire.

The group also shut down I-90 and I-94 temporarily on Sunday as protesters continued to make their voices heard.

The USPCN held a similar protest on Dec. 23 when a nearly 100-car caravan temporarily shut down both sides of I-190 while calling for a ceasefire.
