COOK COUNTY, Ill. - A 17-year-old girl who was reported missing after leaving her Elk Grove Township home without her cellphone has been found safe.
Perla Zumaya was initially reported missing on Sept. 20, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.
On Tuesday morning, officials said she had been located safetly.
No further information has been provided.
