One wounded, 5 arrested in police-involved shooting in Chicago's East Garfield Park

Chicago police said one person was wounded and 5 suspects were arrested in a police-involved shooting on Saturday.

The shooting happened on the 600 block of North Central Park in East Garfield Park in the late afternoon. Police said officers pulled over a vehicle, and someone got out with a gun. That person was shot by police, and the other people in the car were arrested.

The suspect who was shot was hospitalized.

No officers were injured.
