Chicago police on Monday announced a missing 13-year-old had been located.

Sophia Inostroza was last seen on Monday leaving her school early in the Kilbourn Park neighborhood, according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD).

Authorities believed she may have been on foot and could've been in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood.

Following her discovery, Chicago police gave a special thanks to the Forest Park Police Department. It was not disclosed where Sophia was found.

No further details were provided by police.
