CHICAGO - A man was shot and wounded Thursday evening in the South Shore neighborhood.
The 31-year-old was standing on the street when gunfire broke out and struck him in the leg in the 6700 block of South East End Avenue, according to police.
The man was transported by paramedics to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was listed in fair condition.
No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
