ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. - A train derailed in Elk Grove Village Wednesday afternoon.
The Elk Grove Police Department said the train derailed in the area of 1200 Kirk Street.
One train car came off the track and struck a building.
There were no hazardous materials and no danger to the public.
