Unique gym-turned-condo for sale in Kenwood

When the historic Harvard School for Boys was converted into condos more than ten years ago, a developer had a unique plan to hold on to touches of its past life.

Steve Soble decided he was going to take the South Side school's old gym and turn it into a full-fledged living space. Now, Soble has put it up for sale, as a pocket listing not on the public multiple-listing service. The asking price is $1.4 million.
