Boy, 15, shot in Uptown
CHICAGO - A 15-year-old boy was shot Wednesday night in the Uptown neighborhood.
The teen was standing outside around 9:30 p.m. when gunfire broke out in the 5000 block of North Winthrop Avenue, police said.
The boy was shot once in the buttocks and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was listed in good condition.
No one is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
