WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. - The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help to identify several subjects who were involved in a recently stolen vehicle crash.
On July 7, a 2006 Toyota Avalon was reported stolen out of Pittsfield Township. On July 12 just after 4 p.m., that vehicle was located in the area of Barrington and Stamford in Superior Township after the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office received a call from neighbors regarding a traffic crash that had just taken place.
The stolen vehicle was traveling westbound on Barrington and struck a parked vehicle prior to what you will see in the video below. The stolen vehicle continued west bound coming over the shoulder and onto the grass before striking a small tree and coming to a rest on its roof.
The video below is from a neighbors security camera and at 12 seconds you will see the stolen vehicle crash and shortly afterward, several subjects can be seen fleeing the scene.
