Chicago - If you find yourself in need of some last-minute groceries or gifts on Christmas Day, you may be out of luck.
Most stores, restaurants and other businesses are closed on Christmas Day to give workers a chance to spend time with their own families, but there are a few you’ll find with their doors open (albeit with limited hours).
Here’s which stores are open and closed on Christmas.

Grocery and convenience stores open on Christmas
Albertsons: Stores will be open on Christmas Eve at reduced hours, and while many will be closed on Christmas Day, some may stay open with limited hours. Check your local market before heading out.
Circle K: Many locations are open 24/7, even on Christmas Day.
Starbucks: Some Starbucks are open on Christmas Day, but hours will vary by location. Check your local Starbucks before heading out.
Walgreens: Many locations remain open on Christmas Day but with reduced hours. Typically, if your local Walgreen’s is open 24 hours, it will be open for at least a few hours on Christmas Day.

7-Eleven: Many locations are open 24/7, even on Christmas Day.
H-Mart: All stores are open 24/7, even on Christmas Day.
Tony's Fresh Market: All stores will be open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mail delivery
The U.S. Postal Service is open and delivering mail on Christmas Eve, but all post offices will be closed on Christmas Day, and there will be no mail delivery.
UPS and FedEx are also closed on Christmas Day.
Banks
Banks are closed on Christmas Day. Most banks follow the Federal Reserve’s holiday schedule, which includes Christmas Day. Many banks will be open on Christmas Eve, though they may have reduced hours.
Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange are also closed on Christmas Day.
Courts and government offices
All federal, state and local government offices will be closed on Christmas Day. Courts are closed, too.
