CHICAGO - Blue Line service resumed Tuesday morning on the West Side after police investigated a death at the Pulaski station.
Service resumed about 8:30 a.m. between LaSalle and Forest Park, according to the CTA
Trains were stopped about 5:30 a.m. after officers responded to a call of an altercation and found the woman lying on the tracks in the 500 block of South Pulaski Road, Chicago police said.
Witnesses told officers the woman jumped on the tracks after an altercation with a person, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on her death.
